Who we are
We provide a wide range of important services to our partners, from estates and facilities operations to digital services and business support functions. We were established in 2017 by Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust and our profits contribute to supporting care in the NHS.
As a limited company we have built a commercial ethos onto our NHS values and now provide our services to other NHS organisations and beyond. We are agile and able to respond to opportunities where the NHS does not have the flexibilities to do so. We are proud of the quality of the services we offer and the part we play in supporting better care.
We are here to make a difference and have a strong social purpose. We support charity work and are driving plans to become carbon net zero and to tackle discrimination and champion equality.
We have a solid track record of service delivery and have grown the range and scope of services we offer since we were established. We have a strong team of people and are confident we can continue to add value and make a difference into the future.
What we do
We provide a wide range of services
Business Support Services – Finance, procurement, lease cars and staff benefits, workforce, legal and governance services, performance, risk and assurance, communication and engagement, and management consultancy.
Clinical Support Services – Outpatient pharmacy, patient finance, maintenance of medical devices, digital transcription, and materials management.
Digital Services – Service desk, system support, technical support, system training, network infrastructure, cyber security, system design and development, change and project management, and data warehouse services.
Estates Services – Managed healthcare facilities, operational estates, management of capital projects, property portfolio and space management, PFI contract management, sustainability and energy, and fire safety management.
Facilities Services– Domestic services, portering, laundry and linen, patient catering, cafés, waste management, switchboard and reception services, security, car park management, and transport and logistics.

Our Services
Estates Services
Our highly skilled teams offer a full range of estates services, from design and build of new buildings, through to their maintenance and operation, including grounds and gardens. We also have specialist teams in property management, fire safety, and sustainability.
Facilities Services
Our facilities teams team co-ordinate and operate a diverse range of functions, including domestics and cleaning, portering, laundry and linen, patient and staff catering, switchboard services, security and car park management.
Digital Services
Our Digital Service keeps technology, systems and data running smoothly. We look after day‑to‑day IT support, the security and reliability of our networks and systems, the development of new digital tools, and the data and reporting that inform good decisions.
Car Leasing
Our team provide a range of staff benefit schemes including a first class car leasing service. We manage the fleet for our operational teams as well as coordinating work on electrical charging infrastructure. We are proud of our friendly team who deliver excellent customer service.
Transcription Team
Our experienced team transcribe tens of thousands of hours of important medical notes which saves clinical teams precious time they can redirect to patient care. The service receives excellent customer feedback and operates to a very high degree of accuracy and is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Workforce
The team provide a comprehensive service, including recruitment, managing our electronic staff record, and supporting our teams at work. They are at the forefront of HR developments and ensure our policies are up to date and industry leading, supporting our great and inclusive workplace.
Finance
The team deliver an effective and efficient finance service to ensure smooth operational delivery of services through accurate processing of invoices and payments. Alongside our core transactional finance service, the team oversee salary sacrifice processes, and deliver our patient finance and cashier service.
Procurement
Our procurement team deliver a full end to end procurement service, from strategic contracting, through operational procurement, to materials management. Their focus is to ensure that goods and services necessary for service delivery are acquired in the right quantities at the right time and at the right price.
Our social purpose
Our charitable work
Lots of our staff volunteer and help contribute to charity and as a company we are keen to support charities too. In particular we focus on charities who support mental health and you can find out more about our work.

Our Green Plan
Addressing environmental issues and acknowledging the climate emergency has become an area of urgent focus. Our shareholder has declared a Climate Emergency and has followed this up with a Green Plan which sets out a series of ambitions aimed at reducing our impact on the environment.
