Made at the Deli Bar

As the deli bar allows people to pick and choose their fillings people can make their favourite sandwich and be creative in designing a unique sandwich. Our teams have made fruit salad and cottage cheese sandwiches for customers in the past. We also have some cafés that have options which are particularly popular locally, such as spam sandwiches which are a huge hit in our two cafés in Sunderland.
Made for the fridge

Our teams make a wide range of fresh sandwiches each morning. They make sure there is a good selection but they also do so in a way that helps us with our aim of cutting down on food waste. If they have prepared tomatoes for making pizzas they will also use them in the sandwiches and there might be more BLTs on that day. The main aim is to offer a wide choice for people but it’s done in the most sustainable way possible.
