We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Good Work Pledge Award from the North of Tyne Combined Authority. The award recognises our commitment to providing good work for our employees in a range of areas from staff engagement to health and wellbeing. One of our strategic aims is to be a great and inclusive employer so it is good to receive this recognition for our efforts to develop a positive workplace culture.
The Good Work Pledge is a scheme that allows organisations of every type and size to be recognised for providing good work for people and a good working environment. The pledge consists of two levels, standard and advanced, and businesses can apply for an award at either level. NTW Solutions has achieved the advanced level award.
Good work is defined by the North of Tyne Combined Authority as work that offers fair pay and security, opportunities for learning and progression, a supportive and inclusive culture, employee voice and influence, wellbeing and work-life balance.
NTW Solutions was recognised as a Living Wage employer which prioritises secure permanent contracts. Our staff and manager forums were highlighted which allow people to engage with and influence how the company works. Our employee assistance programme was noted in the award and this gives staff a range of support and help and people regularly encouraged to use it.
