The Digital Services Team from Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) has officially joined NTW Solutions.  

The company was established in 2017 with a core mission of supporting better care and provides a range of important support services to CNTW and other partners in the NHS and beyond.  

Digital Services are a vital support service which makes it a great fit with our existing teams and we already work closely together with our digital colleagues. For example, in integrating digital services into new capital projects, and maintaining infrastructure across the estate.  

The transition into NTW Solutions will allow for greater flexibility, innovation, and collaboration, helping to ensure that digital infrastructure continues to meet the demands of a modern healthcare environment. 

Digital Services looks after everything from maintaining secure networks and supporting day-to-day IT needs, to developing innovative digital solutions that improve how clinical services are delivered. 

The scope is large and the team support thousands of staff, maintain 14,500 pieces of IT equipment, and they handle tens of thousands of helpdesk queries. Customer feedback is strong and benchmarking rates the team as highly effective.  

NTW Solutions already has a range of specialities which are closely linked to digital services such as our transcription team which handles digital dictations, we support telephony services and staff mobile phones, as well as maintaining medical devices.  

Since its creation in 2017, NTW Solutions has continued to grow, from its initial estates, facilities, and some business support services to include our transcription team, outpatient pharmacy, medical devices and teams across Cumbria.  

Digital Services and NTW Solutions are the perfect partnership as we work together to support better care.
