NTW Solutions Capital Team have been honoured with the prestigious Client of the Year award at the 2024 National Constructing Excellence Awards. This accolade follows their earlier success in June, where they secured the regional award for Client of the Year in the North-East. The team delivers capital schemes for Cumbria, Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) and other NHS partners.

Competing against eight other regional winners, the victory at a national level underscores the exceptional efforts of the teams and individuals involved in delivering capital schemes. The award recognised the Capital Team’s leadership and commitment to continuous improvement in construction projects. The award highlights their dedication to fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency, empowering their teams to achieve outstanding results.

The team have delivered some major schemes in recent years as part of the CEDAR project at CNTW which is a significant initiative aimed at enhancing mental health services across the region. It involves the development of state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide high-quality care and support. This includes the Sycamore Unit in Morpeth which is a major new development of 72 specialist beds across six wards with state-of-the-art facilities.

NTW Solutions Capital Team have developed extensive expertise in creating healthcare facilities that are tailored to the specific needs of patients. This includes incorporating patient-centred design principles to ensure that the environment is conducive to healing and well-being and supporting better care.
