The Workforce Team’s main area of focus is providing an HR provision supporting the Company with an HR Advisory service, as well as a focus on the Groups Recruitment and Electronic Service Record (ESR) and Agenda for Change (AfC) service. These services ensure the smooth running of workforce functions to enable the support of better care.
All services provide the highest quality provision in their respective areas directly to our stakeholders. Examples of our service include;
An Employee Relation service providing a range specialist advice on employee relations issues including complex cases up to and including dismissal.
Investigatory Service undertaking the whole of the investigatory process in line with the organisations policies and procedures whilst maintaining high professional standards.
Review and development of all Workforce policies and procedures in line with employment law and The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) best practice.
Expert HR advice including organisational change, Transfer of Undertakings (Protection to Employment) regulations (TUPE), and general day to day queries in relation to terms and conditions.
Responsible for Health and Wellbeing within the company, championing Equality and Diversity and being a Great Place to Work.
Delivering bespoke training in all areas of HR, as well as Management and Leadership training.
We work to agreed Key Performance Indicators to deliver a quick and cost-effective service.
ESR & AfC
Maintenance of the integrated HR and Payroll system dealing with pay affecting employee issues.
Overseeing professional registration for a number of staffing groups to support the delivery of better care by ensuring qualified staff are registered in practice.
Processing of all data from internal systems in relation to employee personal information, contractual information as well as terminations.
Providing the assurance required in banding job descriptions in line with national protocol.
Ensure job descriptions and person specifications are up to date and accurately reflect the demands of the services provided.
Assist in the identification and development of new roles and provision of Job Evaluation.
Ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment journey for all candidates within the parent organisation (Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust).
Tailored recruitment needs to fit the supply and demand of services provided by CNTW Foundation NHS Trust.
Administration and coordination of recruitment events ensuring a values based recruitment service.
Management of pre-employment checks in line with NHS standards including right to work in the UK, data barring checks, professional registration and occupational health.
