NTW Solutions has built a warm and productive partnership with Newcastle University Business School over the past four years. Each year, MBA students have joined us to work on real life projects that help them apply what they’re learning while giving us fresh insight, new ideas and an outside perspective on some of our challenges. 

The projects have explored a range of topics, always shaped around things that matter to our organisation. Past projects have included looking at how we communicate across a diverse workforce spread over multiple sites, growth opportunities for our cafés, and what benefits we could or should be offering our staff. 

Each project has been grounded in practical research, including interviews and surveys and have all brought real benefits. Students gain hands on experience working with a busy organisation that supports NHS services across the North East and Cumbria. We gain new thinking and evidence we can use and it gives us access to very talented high calibre students, many who already have extensive experience and each has added value to what we do. 

Our work with Newcastle University helps develop future leaders, and gives us a helpful outside view on how we communicate, deliver services and support our colleagues and customers, helping us to improve what we do and how we operate.
